Just Me

Yesterday was the first day of school for my girls. They had a great day. My oldest also started dance class yesterday. Everything went smoothly. I’m hoping to get more done around the house, get some scrapbooking done & read some books. I wasn’t ready for summer to end, but I’m looking forward to some alone time!

We went to the Selfridge Air show yesterday. I got fried & I was wearing SPF 50 all day long with several applications. I seriously cannot even stand on my left leg. My left side got the worst of it because of the way I was sitting. We left the house at 7:30am. I had to get up at 6 & not joking I have been waking up between 10 & 11 for the last month. It was hard! We got there a little before the base was letting cars in, so we had a great parking spot. The show didn’t start till 11, so we walked around for 3 hours looking at all the planes. Got food, set down to watch the show. My girls & I went with my dad. He ended up spending $60 just on food! The prices were insane! The show was pretty good. It was very hot & the girls got very crabby. They only do it every other year though so glad I got to go! My dad loves planes, especially WWII. When I was little we always went to the Ohio Air Museum, so it was fun going to this!

I can’t believe my book arrived today. I opted for the Free shipping on Amazon & they couldn’t guarantee it to arrive, but it did! Yeah, I’m so excited. The box is very cool too, nice extra touch
